Will a 95 SLE exhaust manifold fit on my 99 SLE?

erics00ls is trying to sell some exhaust manifolds, and I'm interested in them for porting, but only if they'll fit. In his For Sale section thread, an incompatibility issue was brought up. Is it just a simple change to make them fit, though?

Not a mechanical problem. Moved to General Chat.

Whoopsies! Would it be a mechanical problem if I already had 95 NA ems?

I didn't see any exhaust leaks posted. Did I miss them?

I'm trying to figure out the difference between the 95 NA EMs from the 99 NA EMs that my SLE has right now.

That is correct, sir.

That's why I'm wearing your rear end, now.... :D

I figured it would be easier for me to keep the 99 SLE as a daily driver, buy the 95 EMs, port them, and do a swap. Because of the above quotes, I figured I'd ask why I couldn't. Also, I'm over at 1337ssei's house, and we're trying to remove his fallen apart wheel speed sensor from his steering knuckle. It seems we were both eying these EMs, but he has a 97 SSEi. What would have to be changed for these to fit?

I would personally listen to jr's3800's advice in that For Sale topic.

Your post in 92-99 wasn't about a mechanical problem which is why it belongs in General Chat. You don't have a PROBLEM with your manifolds. Or any other mechancial problem that anyone is aware of by your posts.

Please read the Forum descriptions.

As far as the manifolds fitting, that's a general question that has been answered by Don. I suggest you quote his reply and see if anyone disagrees or agrees.

Ok, thanks! :)
