Bonneville accident causes death

Happened less than 5 miles from my house. Very tragic and a heavy blow to a small community.
The in-print article indicates the '98 is white in color.

very Sad story the fact that they were twins only makes it worse because every time you see the one that survived it will remind you of the other
I didnt see the part where they describe the car as white though, only as a 98 pontiac bonneville. so i cant clame the curse on this one...but then again you said it was near your house so im sure you would know the color.
anyway that is irelavent given the tragic nature of this story

How bout the 7 kids that were tragically killed in a Bonneville 2 days ago in Florida, outside of Jacksonville. Stopped behind a school bus a truck (semi) drove straight into the car...no evidence of slowing down.
No idea on the colour..who cares, but damn, first a plane, now a truck.
I'm thinking of selling my Bonneville..I like life :(

Danielle, Kaitlin and Kayla, all Goodrich High School juniors, were on their way to study at a coffee shop when Danielle'* 1998 Pontiac Bonneville spun out of control at about 7:15 p.m. on Baldwin Road in Grand Blanc Township and into the path of an oncoming truck.
I'm with Jim on this one

Is it really the Bonneville that always finds itself in harm'* way? What about other cars? There are other cars as well that encounter some catostrophic failiures resulting in fatalities for reasons such as rust to a weak spot from a previous accident kinda like how I lost my wheel in my driveway one week after I got dented. How do we know that car was well maintained or not in a previous accident?
Regardless this whole thing is terrible. Most likely a co-incidence, but remember there are millions of cars with thousands of people driving the same exact car you are driving. Stuff happens and anything can happen to anybody and without warning. When the Almighty is ready to take you, there aint a thing you can do about it.

This is a very unfortunate incident, but reading through the article, the girl that passed away was thrown from the vehicle and died of injuries later. From the sounds of it, she wasn't wearing her seat belt, which could explain why there was a death in a bonneville that wasn't a super-horrific accident.

I'm very sorry to hear about all this, and will be praying for your entire community, vital49. This was a horrible thing to have happen.
Jim, comparatively, these are good cars. I would much rather get in an accident in a Bonneville than one of those "sporty" (read: little, dorky, 2wd things with four bangers) SUVs or a smaller car (read: our Neon).
