Default Lack of exhaust-With Video

Tinkering with the car today, found I have a bad weld at the muffler. So, unbolted the exhaust from engine, pulled it completley out. Hmmm. Wonder what this thing sounds like with no exhaust? Fire it up! Boy that engine sounds cool with nothing. Sounds like a high performance Rustang idling. Yea I know, I live in a weird world.

Eh, my neighbor is pretty cool. The car is parked out back of my house, and I only have one neighbor next to me. My landlord owns the house on the opposite side of me and no one lives in it. Makes it cool for parties because I now have this HUGE *** back yard to play with.

I'll get a video of it running here shortly.

Uhhh, no not that I know of? I don't recall seeing a bunch of stickers on my car, roll cage, side exhaust or anything like that resembling NASCAR...

Lemme run a small fuel line to the exhaust and we'll see if I can belch some fire

This happened to me once on the 94 Olds 88 that I owned for a brief time. I had to have the catalytic converter replaced and the knuckleheads at Midas used exhaust clamps instead of welding it. I hit a bump and it fell off. Ya, it was a loud 15 mile ride home from that point! Sounded VERY sweet!

Without exhaust restriction you endanger your valves...

95LHS, Too little or no Exhaust backpressure on a stock engine can cause severe damage to the valve train.
