Default Anyone done a MotorVac?

Just wondering if anyone has ever had a MotorVac fuel system cleaning done. Lot of the GP guys up here swear by it.
Just curious to get any thoughts.
Thanks

Never heard of it. Is it an additive/solvent type cleaning or a mechanical cleaning?

Hmmm, sounds good in theory. Similar to what my father in law had done to the tranny of his '98 Blazer and that made a BIG improvement in the smoothness of it'* working.

Good write-up, I must say. I'd never heard of it before, but it sounds like the right way to clean the fuel delivery system.

From the lack of responses in this thread, I assume that nobody on here has had it done yet. I'd be interested in the results.

I guess the problem is finding somewhere to actually perform the MotorVac. I've been calling around and nobody I've talked to does it. I read something about Midas working with MotorVac www.motorvac.com/news/news_midas_4_28_03.html
but the Midas I called didn't provide the service.

It sounds like something that really would bring in good business in California but probably not too much in other states with less strict emissions regulations and maybe that'* why it'* hard to find up here in the Northeast.

This TSB is GM'* take on it. It also refers to other TSBs within it for specific systems.
