Default '90 GP TSTE vs. Astro

I was pulling out of the career center I attend and a kid that is in my auto-tech class there followed me out in his Astro. So we turn onto the road that leads to the freeway and I am behind a '89 or so GP LE and it was just driving normally. So we get to the corner where we have to turn to get onto the entrance ramp and it is taking the GP LE forever to go, and traffic was clear enough plenty of times. So the kid behind me from my class (richie as we will further refer to him as) starts honking. Finally they go and I turn and get on it hard enough to get a little spin, then I get on the entrance ramp and go WOT when I get to the end and then let off when I got to ~75mph. Well, I notice the Astro doing the same thing and figured that was just how Richie drove. So I am cruising along with the cruise set at 75 and richie pulls up next to me and signal to race, I catch on and go WOT, he does the same and we were even for a second and then I just started pulling away, the faster I got the more I would pull. I let off at ~110mph and he was 6+ carlengths back. He gets up next to me again and we do the same except I only got to about 95 when I had to let up for my exit. Now the thing is, this richie kid, is my 2nd year mentor. (I am 1st year, and he is 2nd year so he is supposed to be my role model and help me and everything) What kind of example is he setting for me? I am pretty sure he has a 4.3, and my guess is it is slightly modded, but I don't know for sure.

Just thought I would post, it was fun.

nice. honestly I don't know how much of a chance he stood with u. your in a car that is significantly lighter and turbo'd, and the astros weigh a fricking ton. Nice job though.
