Default This is what my engine was rebuilt with is this good?

My uncle when I purchased the car said the engine was rebuilt with this kit..... http://www.3800performance.com/Merch...roduct_Count=0

Could he have gotten the 8.0:1 or the 8.5:1 on accident and if so what would that lower my hp? Just tring to figure out my high 8'* low 9'* for the 0-60.......... It was rebuilt at 89k

They're alright pistons. I don't know a whole lot about them though. Now for what would have the lower HP, it would be the lower compression ratio, unless you're supercharged.

Yea but that kit says 8.5:1 compression ratio is standard and my car stock has 9.5:1 and I have high 0-60 times for some reason and if my compression was lowered then that would cause some hp decrease....... its optional 9.5:1 but I dunno what my uncle had put in he doesn't know much about cars....

Well, if you went from 9.5:1 compresson to 8.5:1.......Then that'* what'* wrong with your times. Chances are the pistons are for a */C'd car.
