Whats the difference
What is the difference between a series I and a series II?
|
In general terms......different valve sequence, slightly different heads, intake (upper/lower), compression ratio, etc. Fairly minor, actually. Except 35 more hp in the Series 2.

Don always saves me ;)
That's called teamwork! |
See thats why you have six stars gent..
I'd a just laid out the HP and TQ differences  |
Its not "teamwork" its "team up and beat down"
:P *I think I lost a star* |
*looks up sees 5 stars*..walks away
 |
how do i know the difference on what my bonnie is?
|
You have a Series I engine...so all that stuff we talked about...under Series I, that what you have. 170 HP and 225 TQ 8)
Your car is a 92 right? or 93? |
Looks like a 92 to me.
|
Its a 93'.
|
Only the 92 and 93 SE had that grille. Lucky for you, it's a 93. The 92 had no EGR valve, and has a tendency to burn valves.......all the more reason to put in a 180 thermostat!
The blue engine details are cool. Very nice and tastefully done. Everyone should check out your cardomain page. You just need the blue Taylor Spiro Pro plug wires to finish that off! Put your year and model in your signature (profile link at the top right corner of this page). It'll help us alot. |
