It may be FWD. 85 was the crossover year for Cadillac. The Coupe D was still what I have... the big RWD monster. But if memory serves, the Sedan D went over to what would eventually be termed the H body, but it was mid-year. They may be on to something here!

well its all done , all i can say is WOW!...its bonney times 2, and the sound..my god the sound that comes out of that, Im thinking of going to one of the meets in toronto. surprisingly enough, it wasnt that hard to do. and it was fun, lots of beer. im used to the normal sound of the 6, but the 8 cyl and the power..once again wow!

Great call on that C series. It was like the older B/D (Caprice/Fleetwood). The C was an extended H. The bay is only 1 inch deeper due to the front end design difference. Even the mounts should be close, but I'm checking on that. I might even find a pic to post...This could be an inexpensive trade if it'* got around 50,000 from a yard. DP has a V8 option and it'* complete from motor to trans. Depends on your budget.
