93 se vs. volvo s60
my dad has a volvo s60 and i always joke around with him about it. he used to have the bonneville before i did and i make fun of him for going down to a straight 5. so the other day, we went out and he was reving it at the light. i laughed cause i really didn't think he would race. next thing i new, he took off and i realized that he actually did want to race. so i downshifted into 1st and gunned it smoking tires and all. i caught up to him very easily, by the time i hit 30 mph. i keept going until about 50 and backed off to let him catch up. when we got home i asked him if he had really gunned it, or just let off once i started going. he said that he was pedal to the floor the whole time. i had to laugh. he is upset that he didn't get the turbo version of it. (he woulda smoked me then) o well, i won and it was all fun.

I wouldnt race my dad even if he wanted to. For starters its a farming truck (98 Silverado) and second, its got almost 200,000 miles on it! Darn thing would fall apart!
Nah, it wouldn't. Chevy makes the best trucks in my OPINION (dont you dare bash what I believe, not stating a fact).
As for Volvos, some of those models are quick as hell. Just don't get too headstrong when pulling up next to any Volvo.

Posts like a Ricer Type-R
A friend of mine has a 940 Turbo. He'* seen my 1/4 mile times, so he keeps his mouth shut. Stock, I think I could have still taken him. I went after him in my 98 Z71 last year, and THAT surprised him. That truck was no slouch, and killed many an unsuspecting ricer.....but only if I had weight in the back or was in 4hi. That thing would sit there smoking til the cows came home.
