Not quite sure what it would do on your car, as I was too at one time an automotive school student (Universal Technical Institute). 11 months later, and 27,400 in student loan debt, the backseat of my Bonneville was my home for one week. UTI didnt work out for you?

aah ok i just thought id toss that in there, i need one of those for my upcoming exhaust work because my o2 sensor is in the u-bend, which is one of the things going byebye. youll get sound clips when all that is said and done, probably toward the end of december.

Funny, didn't you as what the consequences were?
i asked what the car related concequences are, not legal or epa or anything like that.
Your car will sound like A * *
Your car will smell like A * *
Your fuel mileage may be A * *

And you'll gain nothing but A * *.
I ran around without a cat for a while. The car didn't smell or sound like a * *.
I'm glad I have a cat now though. It'* just one less thing I have to worry about.

I know what mine sounded like with a hi-flow cat and no resonator. It wouldn't be pretty without the Cat. Alot of that, of course, is personal preference.

Mmm, you get higher horsepower by getting a high flow cat, it mean you gain hp from a better flowing exhaust, but if you do free flowing pipe you lose performance... strange?

i think 2000silverbullet did the test with pontiacdad, and the one without the cat was faster.

But yes, the car will stink.

I know this is a bit off topic, but in states that don't have inspections, people don't make a huge deal about catless cars. I'm willing to bet most of the performance cars around Detroit (and there is A LOT of them) don't have cats.
