Default SO, I have 3 days left ...EDIT - LAST DAY TO DRIVE BONNIE

Well, stupid PA inspection is up on May 31...
That means that is probably the last day I will be driving it. I am really going to miss it.
I am trying to convince the missus to fix it, but I don't think I am going to win this one.
She'* tired of fixing it, I don;t want to throw away all we have into it.
I know I need AT LEAST new brakes, rust spots fixed, crack fender fixed, wheel bearing replaced.
I am sure there are other problems too.
The thing is, I don't have the money to fix it, but I really don't have money to replace it either.
It would be cheaper to fix it, but it is in pretty rough shape overall.
My biggest concern is my oil pressure problem.
of course, I would love to replace it with another Bonnie, but not sure I want to go through replacing a tranny and UIM/LIM again.
The wife wants to junk it...
I'd probably get about $150. I would HATE to see that happen, but I really don't know if it is worth it for anyone to put money into it.

Yeah! That'* a tough one. My husband never let up on me when it came to his bonne and I finally gave in b/c I just wanted him to shut up about it. But every car and person are in a different situation. I am really happy he didn't give up on the car b/c I gained a respect and friendship with so many people from this club. But like you said, you'd have to asess the whole situation to determine whether or not if at this point it'* worth the time, money, (and possible arguments with the wife) Again, that'* a tough one.

Yeah, I really don't know what to do. My thing is, with the Bonnie, at least I have this wonderful resource. Not going to find this with any other make/model.

Bump, that sucks, big time... Hell, if it comes down to junking it, I'll buy it off of you for whatever you'd get for it just so it doesn't get junked, since the county I live in in Ohio doesn't have inspections.

Hmmm....that is an interesting idea. If I had a place to park it until then, I would SO do that.

Bump, that sucks, big time... H***, if it comes down to junking it, I'll buy it off of you for whatever you'd get for it just so it doesn't get junked, since the county I live in in Ohio doesn't have inspections.
If I end up getting rid of it, I'll let you know. PM me in a few days to remind me.

Ummmm...I thought about that. I don't know of one. I might be able to find one, but I don't know if I even want to bother.
Actually, I would, but I don't think the wife would go for it.
