What is it?
 

So I've seen several people say they either had a powerlog or were planning on getting one. Can someone tell me exactly what it is, how its done, and what are the benefits?

I gues you could say it's a combination of a header and a exhaust manifold.

Oh Ok. So If i was to get one, could i keep the same 2.5" downpipe or would that need an upgrade?

It's the front manifold and it bolts right in to the stock setup. About a half hour or so to install.

Oh ok great. Is there any advantage to getting one for the rear as well or is the front enough?

The front manifold is the larger restriction. In my opinion the rear being ported etc isn't enough of a difference to spend the time or money. There is little that can be done to the rear manifold to improve it past it's stock state.
