Damn i wish....

The coating that is on the grill was peeling in some areas between the chrome ring and the honeycomb, so i decided to paint her up. I pulled the whole thing off the hood, and i threw around some ideas, here and in my head, in photoshop etc. At first i wanted to do this, where i paint everything from the trim ring, and back silver.

Then i decided that didn't look good, and the paint would be kinda weird looking, specially on the round thing that sticks out far in the middle so i came up with this idea, paint the honeycomb area silver, but paint the part between it and the chrome black. This is were the peeling was occuring.

So far i have painted the honeycomb area, as i figured i'd rather have to paint black over any silver over spray then vice versa. Although my tape job was excellent so i won't have to worry about that... I took some pix, and i'll post them later tonight probably.
