Weights of Factory Wheels?
Anyone ever weigh their factory wheels?? (without rubber) I'm kind of curious on the approximate weight of each style...

crosslace are the lightest
well i know the body color 92SSE(i) rims are 20 lbs a piece
torque stars are about 18 lbs each cross lace are about 15 lbs if i remember correctly, this is based off of my scale for when i have shipped out these types of rims |
My crosslaces weighed in at 12 lbs on my untrusty bathroom scale.
Those old SSEi wheels that are typically body color have to weigh a ton
The 17" chrome swoops are quite heavy...dont want to guess though.
I wonder what my white torque stars weigh. I'll weigh them someday.
Pretty sure I've seen people say the crosslaces weight 16 lbs on here.
my laces are pretty darn heavy, they feel like about 15 ish...it is like back pain central when re mounting those wheels...

I'd also have a hard time believing torque stars weigh only 12 pounds. They should be heavier than the crosslace. |
