New Bonneville coming to my family
Hey guys I am going to be getting another Bonneville here soon. It is a 1995 Bonneville SE. Dk. green in color with ghetto gold wheels and lt. grey leather interior. The only problem is there is it leaks oil and it has 160k on the motor. I am getting it for $400. The car is in excellent shape with a few dints and no rips in the leather. Is this a good dealor not?

That'* an SLE. And it'* a good deal if it runs. Carefully check the oil and coolant for the dreaded upper intake failure. Listen to the motor and make sure it'* not knocking.

yea, especially if U have 12 hundred or so to re-build the engine, might be a pretty good deal.....................
95+400= somethings wrong unless U actually know the seller well,

BS. It isn't a head gasket. Symptoms are the same, but my money is on the UIM failure, and he hasn't done anything with the oil, which means the bottom end of the rods and caps (and bearings) are rusting out as you sit there drooling over it.

Upper intake failure. You are now speaking another language when you say that. So does that mean I will have to rebuild the whole engine then?

So what I should do is check the oil, and if it is clear everything is fine. But if it is dark it should be overhauled?
