Viper GTS vs. Turbo GSR
I was heading into work late today, coming down the 170 to the 101 interchange. As I exited Highland I spotted a bright Blue Viper GTS. It looked pretty mean from where I was sitting. We both headed down sunset tward century city.
At the fourth or fifth light we came to we were next to each other. The driver was middle age around 40 and had a passenger, a woman. I commented to him "nice car" and all he did in return was shake his head at me, laugh and point.
You all know dems fightin words to us car folk!
I still had a little race gas left in the tank from friday night, so I adjusted the Apexi avc-r to 2 bar max and set the funky traction control mode to on. Not like the real thing but it works, right? Anyway.. I looked over at him and picked the biggest piece of nose gold one could ever muster at such a grim time, and flicked it onto his driverside window. From that point on I inched forward waiting for the light.. I think he got the point.. because his engine started to rev.. loudly.
Just before the light went green I looked over and had one last glimps of eye contact, and blew him a kiss. His face was as red as my car.. the dude was pissed.
Light went green and we both dropped the clutch. He started spinning and 8 lbs/top of first/8k and i'm 1/2 on him. He'* still there spinning his tires trying to get traction. At this point I shifted to second and just to get him a little more excited, tossed on the 4-ways.
He hit second gear and started to reel me in it seemed.. smokig through second, 8k... 14psi and I was still 1/2 almost 2/3 on him. He was still hanging there. At this point I lost track of what gear he was in as mine were going faster and faster.
I pulled third hard.. and slipped.. falling to 5k rpms, but boost shot up to 22psi and I quickly gained a car on him.. his back bumper knocking on my back door. I pulled through third pretty quickly and hit fourth at 8k....
Now at full 2bar, I started to take home the mail. I aggressively pulled about another 1 1/2 lengths on him... and moved over into his lane and at 8k shut down and tapped the breaks. As I did so..
We arrived at the next stoplight in upscale Beverly hills and he moved over next to me again. This guy, lemme tell you.. was pissed. He was cursing and swearing something fierce... banging on the steering wheel.. the passenger I bet was scared. He pointed the finger and yelled one last obsenity... and waited for my response...
I reached behind the seat and grabbed one of the 1.99 tampon packs my fiance bought at kmart the night before.. and tossed it into his window. I then replied after he looked down at them confused...
"clean yourself up.. you act like a damn *****"
The woman in the passenger seat busted up laughing at that point, aparently amused at my wit. I calmly put in in first and pulled away. I was almost halfway to the next light (short one this time) and noticed he was still sitting there dazed and confused, pissed and hurt.

Those vipers aren't that hard to beat . Power don't mean sh*t if you cat get it to the floor. I know of 9 stangs 4 monte'* and 19 or 20 Z-28'* that can EATVipers. My friend has a integra that can hold with an M-5. and somebody has a focus that does 11'*. I hate focus and integra'* . But a FEW can hang up there. I'm pretty sure a GN will eat one up.....
