Engine tear down
Last week my son and I went and picked a complete L67 engine.
He was stoked, he got to lift it out of the trunk, I just guided it along while he worked the lift.
Got a box of parts as well.
Decided to get it mounted on the stand so my son and I can start ripping it down. He wants to learn how a engine works.
Didn't take to long.
When he gets home from school we might start taking it apart. Depends on him.
Now, if anyone is looking for engine parts, just speak up. I have a complete engine, a supercharger that I'll be finishing the porting on this week, sensors, coils, alternator, starter, AC compressor, 2 sets of heads, 2 LIMs. I also have a transmission with a HD diff, cover and output shaft, gears, transfer chain, valve body, sensors, clutches, planitaries, the case, and the shift accumulator. I'm planning to install a shift kit in the accumulator. That way if you buy that it'* just a swap, no need to take that apart. Haven't set any prices yet, so make offers. I need this stuff out of the way to make room for more stuff.

Dan...you cheat. The exhaust was already off. I was going to ask for a pic from the bottom end, because the schuast ends up hitting the stand.
Fun stuff and must be great to have a helper.

I'm hopping he does good. It'* hard to get him started in something new. But this should help him with his autism, it gives him something to keep his mind on. The only pain with mounting it was I had to run ot menards and get some 12mmx70mm bolts.
