Did an oil change!
Well i g ot sick of paying someone else to do the things i am 100% capabile of doing on my own. so i went to Auto Zone and bought all the stuff i need to get er done. Jack stands, oil drain pan (the good one that stores the oil inside so you can take it in and recycle it), 5 quarts of Mobil One Synthetic, and a Mobil One Extended performance oil filter. was SOOO easy, the hardest part was pumping the jack handel to get the car up! so now my baby has clean oil again, and my wallet is empty again...

Glad to see you're all done. I hear a lot of good things about Mobile One, but man it sure is expensive, isn't it. Well, it'* all worth it if you're motor lasts forever. Can't hurt right?

thats the way i see it. plus the previous owner only used mobil one stuff so i may as well continue the treatment....
this is the filter i used (brand, not exact one...)
is it something new? i've never seen them before.

I usually just use Castrol, or Quaker State 5W30, and wait untill it'* one sale, and obviously change the filter everytime. I've been lucky enough to get high mileage out of the 90 Bonne so I figure I'll just keep doing the same thing. Now, if I could afford Mobile one.........well then.
Drifter was telling me about a substitute for Mobile One that he has found that'* the same quality but less expensive but I can't remember the name. Maybe someone can chime in if they know of it.
I hope you get 500,000 miles out of you're motor.

Prep for more poverty.
Go back..get a grease gun and a tube of high quality grease.
Each oil change..check and grease as necessary. Many oil change places overlook the grease fittings when in a rush.
