I have never used the synthetic blend but their fully synthetic is good (IMO) :D

Well what my idea is I'm gonna try and blend my way over to the full synthetic.....

Been running dino in it for a while. So now I'm trying out the blend, maybe do one more change on the blend, then the next change go to full synthetic.

That's my idea, just ease into it :)

I just went to fully synthetic cold turkey. I would think it's a decent oil.

At this stage in Oil history, I think all major brands are about equal.I guess it's just what floats your boat. I use Castrol Syntec just because I believe their deep involvement in auto/ drag racing may give they have a little edge on newest technology.... But doubt their is really much difference in the major brands.

As Will W mentioned before Many cars here reach towards 300k on dino oil. I ran an 85 Olds to 237k on dino and it went to the boneyard running great. It was just "dated" , with the other parts of the drive train falling apart, and started to look butt ugly compared to newer models.

Ya....I dunno....Kinda looking for the extra protection almost....

I'm just quirky on lil shit like this,

I use Royal Purple. http://www.royalpurple.com/sport_truck/sport_truck.html check out the videos on the right hand side. Pretty impressive. I haven't dyno'ed to see if it actually worked in my car but I do notice a better gas mileage. Cheaper than most synthetics even at wally world. Any synthetic is good though. They don't break down chemically like a petroleum based product and they have the same particle size throughout the entire oil unlike regular oil which has multiple sized particles that all break down at different intervals and over time. I don't think that there is any advantage to going with a blend. Engines don't know the difference and the oil will not last as long in a blend as with a full synthetic. Might as well go one or the other. For the money's worth anyway.

Ya this stuff was at the one or the other price....right in the middle for a quart lol.
