Default Silverstar 9005ST'* Dissapointed?

So I got a set of Silverstar 9005ST'* (DRL, High beam) lights for Christmas and just got them installed. I must say im a little dissapointed with them. They are brighter for sure than the stocks but there is no blue color to them like my 9006ST low beam lights (which I love). Anyone else running these and notice the differance?

They are not as blue as I expected...but I like the super clear light that comes with it...compared to my stock foggers the SS'* are WAY whiter...

I wish those Naxos that Smellbird sent me worked tho :(

I didn't think that they were supposed to be blue, I thought that they were supposed to be a really clean and pure white... I could be wrong though.

They're supposed to be white. The blue coating on the lens just filters out the yellow wavelengths. The reason they don't appear to be as bright is that they project the light farther away. Mine appear the same way, but I have cool blue highs and SS lows.

I have Piaa extreme whites in the high beams and silverstar lows and cant see a color diff between them. The piaa is an all blue glass the silverstars have a blue tip. I dont feel the piaa are worth the extra money, siverstars are great.

Yes, they are way whiter (and really nice for driving) but i dont use my high'* that much so its more for the DRL effect. You don't need the white light for the DRL'* so I was hoping for a more blue effect like i get with my lows. Ah well.
