I'd love to be the first GXP owner but it ain't gonna happen. Hopefully one day my wet dreams about owning one will come true.

Hmm..my feeling is the GXP will be slower than my car (in fact I think it already is). i'm not too keen on the styling in the front (to much like an SE) and the first year of a new model always has issues. I think i'll pass

I hope to "upgrade" next spring. I can get a GM supplier discount. Unfortunately, used car values have plummeted due to all the rebates and incentives, so the trade-in value of my car will be the deciding factor. My goal is to get a GXP for less than $50 per month more than I am paying now. Wish me luck (or death, for you jealous types)

You're right about the possible issues it would have. I just wonder in a couple years I'd find one that someone traded in and I could get a good deal on it. :?

Jay...are you able to "tag" cars from GM? Its what my family does, we have tagged Cadillacs, GP'*, 2 Montanas, 2 Auroras, 1 Silhouette and 2 GMC Sierras..

All top of the line cars

Pretty much...the more expensive the car...the better the deal I get! The supplier discount is a set price over the real dealer cost, not the "dealer invoice" crap. The more expensive the car is (sport/luxury), the higher the profit GM takes, i.e. the higher the markup over cost (that I don't pay).
