Trans Cooler question? - Update, Bought my cooler today!!

I am interested in buying the B&M Supercooler, its a big one, 24000GVW. Would this one work in by bonneville? http://www.bmracing.com/products/acc...uperCooler.jpg
Does anyone know if all the installation accessories are included? Thanks

Everything should be included, and if it's not, no sweat. Several of us have added them. BTW, I was just in a 'summit' with Don and Jim yesterday, commenting on how my trans barely makes it above 130°F on a 30° day. I believe I will be fashioning a small plexiglass cover for half my trans cooler for 'winter wear'.

Mine's next, but I never thought about it being too cool...I'll have to watch for that...

Cool, I am gonna see about ordering my trans cooler , my MSD Wires, or some exhaust parts this week, not sure what yet. I am leaning towards tranny cooler. How and where did you guys run your hose? I'm not sure if I want to run them under the radiator, around the side, or what? I want the cooler in the lower right side of my radiator so that my big fan sucks a good amount of air through it.

Also My 180 degree t-state is running at 185 with both fans on 24/7. Will, is there any ways to get it down to 180 all the time? DO you think it just a glitch in my temp sensor?

WHOOO HOOOO, my fiance gave me the ok to use her paycheck to buy what ever I decide on. 8) Anyways I am trying to buy some of the stuff on my tax return list before I get my tax return so I can get even more stuff for my Bonneville. The two things I want the most and want soon is my trans cooler and exhaust.

make sure you get the msd wires for a gtp, they are a direct fit, i also agree with Will about the trans cooler.

I sell this model of Aux. Trans Cooler.
http://www.bonnevilleattitude.com/st...roducts_id=449
The reason I offer this model & brand is this one offers a GVW rating 18,000 lbs. Low pressure drop cooler. Internally thermatically controlled too. What this means is it will only allow the fluid to circulate through it if the temperature of the fluid is needed to be cooled. Therefore this cooler can be used year round & for ANY climate too.

Being that I have a series 1 N/A, what size cooler should I get? I was thinking 24000 GVW but now I thinks thats too big. The B&M one looks the same as the one your selling Deathrat, whats the difference between the two.

h1081dan, why do you want your car so cold? That seems to be a lil cold to run these cars, A 180 t stat isn't supposed to keep the car @ 180, it starts to open @ 180, but it should hang around 200. As far as i know i have a stock one, and i've never ever seen mine above 200...

I like mine cold to reduce wear and to hopefully prevent another intake failure. Thats about it. Mine hasn't reached over 190 since I wired the fans to run all the time (low speed). Always around 185. My tranny seems to shift better since I kept the engine at that temp.
