Awwww man, thats horrible to see :( BUT the good thing is that you are safe. We can always replace cars but not ourselves!

One of the reasons I bought a Bonneville was because it had a good safety record. You'll never know when you will need it.

Im glad you made it out alive, cars can be replaced, people can't! Its a shame to see that awesome 40th aniversary edn. smashed up, and yeah, still shining away!

Thanks everyone for their support...someone was aking how it happned... I was going about 70MPH in the rain, the next thing I know I'm going sideways, hydroplaned. I had no chance of getting back on the raod. I hit a tree head on, after spinning around at least once....As for parting out the car, I can't really do that. The insurance compnay owns it now and who knows where it is. It was fully covered and I'm getting like 8500 for it, paid 6900. I did take off the 40th aniv. badges though. I'll probably put into a framed pictures of the car or something.

Wow!! I am scared of hydroplaning. It is a common thing. I just saw a car flipped over a couple of weeks ago due to the same thing. I was cruising along at 65 not really paying attention until I saw that car and then I slowed down quite a bit. Hydroplaning is as bad as driving on ice. I hate both of those.

Wow that sucks man, but sadly enough **** happens. I totalled a 97 Honda Accord, and if makes you feel any better I totalled it on a mailbox while traveling down highway 3.

Rain and snow used to scare me alot when driving the mustang, but now that I have front wheel drive vehicles its a heck of a lot better pulling out of a spin out.
