Default how likely is it......

...for an airbag(*) to just deploy randomly in ur face b/c the "inflatable restraint" light is on? and if it is possible....is there a way to disable the system? like pulling a fuse? until the problem gets checked

ay, the exact same thing i'm afraid of happening to me.....so in the mean time...any way to disable the system?

There should be a fuse for it on the drivers side fuse block, it will say wich number it is, rememner the Inflatable Restrait warning light will illuminate because of this.

not a prob....i can live with the light, but not with the possibility of an airbag deploying at any given moment..it was so stressful driving today lol

i think ther is also a yellow cord that you can unplug underneath the steering wheel by the pedals.

do i need to disconnect that too? or is just pulling the fuse fine?
