It keeps your headlights on after you turn off your car for a specified amount of time - depends how you set it.

This isn't really audio or aftermarket related though :?

Yes, it is a system that uses a photocell on the dash to determine outdoor light and will turn on your headlights automatically when it gets dark, you go into a parking garage, into a tunnel or any other dark area. All systems also have a selector for you to choose how long you want your headlights to stay on after you turn the car off. Anywhere from immediate to around 5 minutes. completely takes away having to worry about remembering your headlights.
