time to fight with ford

okay took the fusion to the dealer yesturday for a lower engine knock that came up last week. and the service adviser (rudy) acknowledged it was there and said i have never heard this on one of these before.

fast forward to today
i get call from rudy saying that there is no problem and it wont be fixed. they looked at it checked the database for like problems or complaints. he also said that they had engineers look at it and they said it was common for the fusions to be noisy.

rudy now wont answer his phone or answer my messages we will pick the car up thursday so i will talk to him then if i cant get ahold of him tommorow, but where can i go from here as i know i will get nothing out of them

shitty deal, everytime something happens to my GXP and it goes to GM their best answer after so many calls and tests is "its normal"

i'd say see if the problem duplicates and then take it somewhere else?

only problem with waiting is right now the car has 22k on it my mom puts 2k a month on it so the warrenty will be up by the end of the year unless it gets that much worse that fast it does all its miles interstate so very eas mabey i need to go bounce it off the rev limiter a few times to speed it up lol

had a similar deal with a neon i bought, there was a noise(sorta went away after it got warm) and i took it in and they said it was normal but if something happened i would be good because its on record that i brought it in before the warranty ended and they didnt want to do anything. turns out i put 110k on it before i traded it in and it made that noise the whole time.

One of my son's best friends is a service adviser for Ford in Allan Park, Michigan. He is one of the guys the dealerships call when they can't solve a problem, and has access to all of their service data bases. If you PM me the VIN for the Fusion I can have him check the databases for similar issues on these vehicles.

Has this engine made this sound sense you got it? Some engines are louder then others. 4s more so. Have you looked at the oil? If there's a problem like a bearing going out you will see signs of this in the oil.

we bought it with 14k had the oil changed at 20k and it started about 500 miles after that

i just got off the phone with customer relations and they are filing a case on this and the dealer has to call within 4 days to schedual another service to look at it again we shall see
