03 LeSabre Left CV Axle
I finally was able to "pop" loose my drive axle on the driver'* side. Please inform me as to whether I should see tranny fluid leaking out of the hole.

See that colored ring around the hole where you pulled the axle. That'* the axle seal that keeps the axle sealed to the trans to keep the trans fluid from leaking out. Being that you removed the axle, fluid leaking is completely normal.

I come from the days of rear wheel drive...yes an old ancient bong master...thanks for the reply! Your answer gets a big thumbs up because now that I have delayed the reinstallation I have supersized drink of xmission fluid in a pail...haha...good opportunity to put in fresh fluid.

Well, my experience has been thus far that YES....if your tranny fluid was at the proper level AND if it is normal for tranny fluid to leak out after removing shaft AND if after three days you have a small butt can full of leaked out tranny fluid then all is well in MechWorld.
