Cluncking Sound, "Normal"
I just got back from a small trip and during that time I brought my car in for warrenty work. I was told today that all 3800 series 2 engines clunk when they are turned off. The said its the idler actuator motor. So any series 2 */C or NA want to post a short video of you're car as its turned off would be apreciated to conferm this. They said the 3400 seeries does the same thing. I'm amazed nobody has ever complained about it, its quite noticable. :?

I brought the car to the Lakeville Tire and trusted them before they told me that the sound was normal. Then to hit the nail in the coffin I asked them what 3800 was the quickest and they said the version from the 1980'*. They said that you'd have to be supercharged to beat it. This guy even owns 3 Bonnevilles, a 90, 93, and 98 and says the 90' is the quikest. What an idiot.

Were you aware that all service managers are sent to a school where they learn to say"They all do it" and all of the possible variations on that phrase? They must be able to say in their sleep before they can graduate.
