Default GM Factory Service Manuals

I just picked up a new-in-wrapper set for my '97 Bonneville on ebay for $25 shipped! That'* a great deal, considering they're $130 new at www.helminc.com. That is all!

Good for you!

It took me a few months to finally figure out how to read the manual properly, but now I swear by them. Learned so much in the last week .

Yeah, the Chiltons or Haynes are just second best compared to an FSM.

Chiltons is ****. A summary of a FSM at best. I filed it to the trash bin after I got a proper repair manual.

The "Shadetree Manuals" (Chiltons/Haynes) are not total garbage. Some of the stuff the FSMs make sound like rocket science are quite well explained in the Shadetree manuals.

FSMs are better, but shadetrees make good translators sometimes.

Wow! I'm jealous! I paid $51 for mine and they were used. I'm still happy with them and well worth it, but $25 for new?!? Excellent deal!
