There definitely aren't many Bonneville taxis around. I've only seen three to date. One in Nashville, TN and two in Vegas.

Thats not actually the first time that I've seen Bonnes as taxis. I saw a stripped down 96-99 in Niagara Falls ( I looked at it while it was parked, console shifter, strange looking seats just a radio), and I actually saw a 1990 SE in Toronto a few years ago. wish I had a pic.

why? Bonnevilles are designed and proven to run and run and run. They are perfect for a job like that.

Cop cars go through a lot more than a taxi. Well, more than a taxi should, anyways. You never know what happens when a cab driver gets bored after the bars close, but nobody's headed to work yet. I know that was the time we used top beat the crap out of our cars when I was a cop.

I have, on Yahoo. I've looked all around and can't find it again, though.

I worked for a local taxi company with 2 SSE's and bought the owners SSEi. I only drove the Bonnie's. And i drove'em like a rental! They both were retired and sold last year with over 230,000 on both.
