That's too funny. I haven't seen that car there the last few days either. Does he work/ go to school in the downtown area? What are the chances, huh?

I take it he is not a member. Maybe he should join now that he knows people are in his area. Or, does he not live here and just happenned to be here visiting? It would be cool to have more members in my area.
And I put my name on the cards hoping to be able to tell if anyone join us in my area.

That's pretty funny and coincidental.

I've become much more selective about carding after carding about 100+ Bonnevilles in my area with only one response that I know of, I've come to realize that very many of them down here are driven by retired folks who have no interest in (and maybe no knowledge of) the internet. I have found many of them on the ground where they were thrown after someone took them off and tossed 'em.

Anyway, I've adopted the approach of watching who drives 'em and looking for indications that someone really cares about the vehicle. Right or wrong...I don't know.

The same here. The last Bonne I carded was a 40th SSEi in a McDonalds parking lot. I've seen it several times since. An older fellow drives it so,I finally figured he fit into the "internet challenged" category or just doesn't care http://www.thehealthymom.com/wp-cont...tion/dunno.gif

Yeah, I am discovering this as well. Unfortunately, it seems here that the only well cared for Bonnies I've come across are ones owned by "older people" who do not have that internet desire.
I've carded a few not so well cared for ones too, in hopes that maybe they'll check us out and learn to appreciate or atleast how to fix they're prize.

I was there with Pat.. he's on the phone.. "yeah..we are", "yeah..he's one of us".. "yeah..I know Tallbump"

LOL

Look at it this way.. you got a response from the card.

Why write your name in the space? Mine are printed 8)

tallbump 11-01-2006 09:43 AM

Printed..never thought of it...I like that idea. Look much better than my handwriting. It is good to have gotten some type of response.

BillBoost37 11-01-2006 09:56 AM

Haro was printing them for a small extra cost.. well worth it...
