i have a 1998 SLE bonneville is there a way to have my car in gear and have just the running lights on and fog lights ?

i know on 1996 to 1999 chevy and gmc trucks u can depress the e brake one click and the lights go out and u can run with parking lights on but it dont work on my car is there another over ride or what can i do to get my head lights out and have my parking lights on wile driveing?

Those trucks also have significantly more travel in their parking brake. Not sure about your car but mine begins to grab right away. Which isn't really a good thing to drive with.

jbspy: are you talking about during the day or at night? My suggestion will be different depending upon this answer.

First, disable your daytime running lights by unplugging the white resistor (it'* about 3"x1"x1/2" located under the driver side fender lip.

For your lights....I know it'* sort of cheating, but it works. All you need is a tiny bit of aluminum foil.

posted are a few different ways to do this. A search for disabling auto headlights or something along those lines should yeild you a few choices of going about that task.
