Struts and Mounts

Hey Guys,

Well just a few thoughts that have crossed my mind today and wanted to get a little feedback. I took my car into the dealership today to have a rear rattle looked at and figured it would be a quick and easy solution. (Mind you, i have the GM certified used car warranty, thats the reason it went in, after my last 6000 miles are up, it me fixing it! :) ) Got a call like 6 hours later saying they needed the car overnight and they were replacing left and rear air shocks and mounts. (Defanitly recomment the GM warranty, they handled ALL issues i have had with the car. Even my tires leaking air around the bead, broken door clips, any problem. No questions asked and even give me a ride to and from my job while my car is in service. Gotta give it to GM on that one!)

With my car only having 80,000 miles on it, and planning on driving it well over 200,000, are these air shocks known to have problems on the 2000 + bonnevilles? Is there any way to maintain them to make them last longer? (grease fittings?)

What are some other suspension maintenance i should keep and eye on and do regurly?

Thanks for your thoughts and input guys!

Eric

The Monroe Max Airs (Part# MA822) supposedly last longer than the factory ones

How tough are these to replace since there "air shocks"? I have done shocks (well structs actually) and are pretty easy, didnt know how much of a hassle this was to do....just looking out in the next 100,000 miles what i have to look forward to! haha

Thanks guys,
Eric
