Default Need to know what to use to buff out new clear coat rougness

about 3 days ago i re painted on of my rear quarters, now when u feel the panel it feels somewhat rough from the new clear coat...what do i use to buff this out?

How bumpy is it? You should use sandpaper from 800 grit (to get rid of 'orange peel'), then go up through 2000 grit, then use rubbing compound on it. That will make it smooth and shiny

I mostly concur, although I would use wet sandpaper once I got the largest bumps off.

yes use wetsanding fo' sure. Then buff out all the fine scratches with some polish. Not sure if you should use compound. Maybe some real fine compound.

3M brand fine cut rubbing compound, great stuff. The paint should be dry enough now to use it. Good luck.

Maybe something as small as a fine cut cleaner???? On meguiars stuff its level 2 of 10...

it isnt very rough at all, enought that it looks a bit dull in the sun light
