Default Bent Control Arm?

Stumbled across a 94 recently for sale, owner slid on ice and hit a curb, hard enough to break the wheel and bend the control arm. I have not seen it, he says it will still drive, just not the same as before. What my concern is that it may have bent the strut tower also. Think its worth fixing? I may be able to see it this weekend if nothing else pops up that needs my attention. What all else could have been damaged as a result?

when i smoked the curb, the only thing that broke was the control arm and the rim... worth taking a look

I drove around for a while with a bent control arm. It was a bitch to get off, but once replaced everything was ducky.

thanks. I probably would not be brave enough to change this on my own. However it looks like a new one is 278.00 from GMPD. I am also hoping that if it turns out to be a next car for us that it will make the 100 mile drive home in its as-is condition, just till I get to fixing on it

Definatly get the part at a junkyard. You pretty much have any H-Body to choose from, you shouldn't have any problem finding one. I paid $20 for mine and I took it off and Olds 88.
