Serpentine Belt Replacement?
Time to replace the serpentine belt on my 97 Bonneville 3800 series 2.
Some say to pull top engine mount, but have also heard of removing a nut, bolt and spacer for easy belt replacement.
Any thoughts or advice?
Thanks

Thanks for the post. I dont see a spacer that long on mine, but there is one lower down that is about 1 1/2 inch wide.
Mine unfortunately does not have the super charger.
I may wait a couple of weeks to change this as I also have to put a A/C compressor on because mine is leaking on the body/housing.

I don't think you need to pull that spacer if you only have the ACC belt. There'* a very think area you need to work that belt threw. That'* past that one idler pulley.
