The Saga
Well, a couple of you may have known, but I was wanting to upgrade to a 4x4 SUV, or perhaps a truck, instead of my bonnie. Well my Dad drives a 1995 Chevy Suburban and he has to travel back and forth to work everyday and sometimes have to take it out for a business trip. So, he occasionally talked about getting a car, something more fuel effecient. So, after looking for a 4x4, my Dad asked me if I would like to drive the Suburban for a couple weeks while he drives the Bonneville, to see how I like if. If I do like it, we will trade cars. So, now I'm driving the Suburban and my Dad is driving the Bonnie. I am really glad that the Bonnie will be staying in the family, so if I do miss it I can have her back. Just thought I would let you guys know, this is probably why I wasn't on here much lately (that and exams ). But I will still drop in here and there, as much as I can to see whats going on. So, I be seeing you guys around the forums.

A similar thing happened to my old Bonnie. My dad got it from me when I got the GTP. However we won't be seeing it too much longer, cause my dad wants to get a GTO, and the ol Bonnie is starting to show its age if you know what I mean.

I've tried to convince him not to get rid of her. Alex, you need to trace down that horrible fuel economy. You probably aren't even seeing 20mpg because our gauges aren't linear .

Well, I'm not necessarily getting rid of her. She is still in the family, still in the garage, just my dad is driving it. So, we can still work on it and stuff.

Why do you want a truck if I may ask? Most people who want or have one don't need it and the gas milage and safety concerns are just cause "trucks are cool".
