Spring rates
Hi, this is my first post here but I have visited before. My board is down right now(lesabret.com), so I though I'd ask here. Looks like we have some knowledgable people here.
I have a 1987 Lesabre T-type with F41 "Grand Touring" suspension. I resently found this when working on my brakes:

Obviously I'm going to need some new rear springs, the hard part is finding the right ones. I know that the F41 has one of, if not the stiffest springs for the H-body. Does anyone have the proper spring codes and rates for the different packages? On a dealer lookup site I found NTZ and NXZ, how do these match to the suspension packages.
I'm also looking for strut information as well.
I want to keep it as stiff in the back as possible, thanks in advance for any help.

I did a search and found that post. But there isn't much info on the F41 there and no part numbers or sources for springs there.
Just got off the phone with the dealer. They list two spring options for my car: regular and variable. Don't know if either would be a direct replacement.

Thanks for the help. I'm not sure why the bonneville springs wouldn't work? The dealer said he had no info to match the spring code to the RPO code. He also said that the originals were discontinued, the replacement springs came only in normal or variable. Not sure who these are made by. Most places I checked online list normal or variable also. For the shocks they list normal or heavy duty(F40)/sport(F41).
Yes the T-type package includes different shocks, springs and anti-roll bars.

Just talked to AC delco. They only make springs for base models, those of us with different suspension packages are SOL.
Can you list the different spring code numbers and their corresponding packages if you have it. Hopefully then I will find some for the 87.
thanks,
