When I bought it, I had the same trouble, and they replaced the oil pressure sending unit, good guess. I'm hoping it'* not the OPSU, as that would point up a bigger problem that'* causing the failures. :? :?

Yeah, and they were a stone b*tch to do, had to cut along the join between the lens and the reflector, and you can only get at three sides. The edge that faces the side of the car when it'* in is glued too far in from the edge to cut, so you have to cut the rest of it, then carefully pull it back until you can crack the tinted portion loose inside and pull it out through the side. As is, I caused some slight damage(VERY MINOR), in that the black grid inside the lens popped loose of the lens in a spot or two, but it takes close inspection to see it.
I learned a few things though, and I think I could do it again, better, and avoid the mistakes I made this time around.
If I were going to do it again, I think I would buy another set of trunk lights and sacrifice the lenses from one set, and the reflectors from the other, so I could get a perfect fit.

You guys are gonna love the look of this car, though I wouldn't recommend those of you with darker cars try this, it'd really look better on lighter cars like mine.

Pics soon!!

Did you take any pictures of the work-in-progress?

What did you use to do the cutting?

Thanx

Knew I forgot something :? Sorry no WIP photos
Used a Dremel Rotary Tool with a cutting disc, a hint though...

...Don't try it unless your Dremel has a cord! Battery-powered Dremels just don't have the torque to keep from getting stuck when the plastic melts from the heat of cutting.

I'll try to take some pics that'll give you a better idea where to cut when I get her back from the shop

I would like to clear the (front) corners and tails of my 97 SSE. I have no clue where to even start. If anyone knows how or has pics of WIP let me know!
