I have 3 transmissions. Getting a picture wont be a problem. Once I get my car back on the road I'm rebuilding one of them and selling it. The last one is going to be built as a race transmission and held as a spare.

Wow, I can actually say I have a spare engine and trans myself for once. Even a spare car if need be. LOL

Looks like I have the transmission all back together.
I started by removing all the parts to clean them up and verify everything is back together right.
The thrust bearing assembly
Installing the reaction sun gear drum
The reaction sun gear assembly
Input carrier thrust bearing.
Oil dam
Input carrier assembly
The ATSG manual, a big help
Reverse reaction drum.
Reverse band.
Input housing with all clutches, all held with the home made holder.
4th clutch piston assembly.
Hardened input shaft.
3.29 gears and transfer chain.
Reluctor wheel and oil pump shaft.
Hardened 4th gear input shaft.
4th gear clutches installed.
Oil dam installed.
Thrust washers need to be installed on the valve body before installing the valve body.
Valve body installed.
Torquing the valve body down.
Removing the old pressure control solenoid.
Installing the new pressure control solenoid.
Wiring harness put back in place.
Side cover put back on and then torqued.

After torquing everything and closing it up, I found I was unable to turn the input shaft by hand, even though I could before closing it. So I opened it back up and found this thrust washer had moved out of place.
I put in a new thrust washer and started torquing the valve body. Again I was unable to turn the input shaft by hand. So after talking to SPG358 is sugested checking the bearing under the 4th gear piston assembly.
You can see the bearing i not sitting flush.
After some persuasion, it'* now flush.
Because I had to open up the transmission so many times, I didn't get nearly as much done as I wanted. But I did get the flex plate changed.
I had to change it because the new torque converter has a different bolt pattern.

Those plastic thrust bearings, I hate them. Twice now I have found them in the bottom of my oil pan in pieces.
I didn't see you mention it, but I gotta ask, you did realign the flux reverse band prior to installing the 4th clutch using a Roundtoit right?
