Have you ever smiled so much that your face hurts? I'm thinking the day the bonneville does that, my mouth may actually fall off.

Since traction is tough, how about helping the car maintain it?

I'm assuming you throw a set of those on the rear to stiffen it up? Looks like I found something else to add to my shopping list.

Those are for Dan. You 00+ guys can't use them. Sorry, best of traction luck to ya.

I've got them on, pumped up to about the max 35psi. Plus I have the air struts pumped a little higher than normal. Between the two, the back end doesn't allow much weight transfer.

If I put it all back to stock, the front end would never gain any traction.

They even match Dan'* red scheme that he has going on.

I think I might, I'll have to move the PCM, never looked at how much that would involve.

Why must you keep adding things to my list Bill, why?

You wanna be fast don't you? I'm not adding things to your lists. I'm merely helping you remember things you forgot to add to it yourself.

BTW, it fits pretty decently like this.

Quick moment with the hacksaw and the canister bucket will bolt near the ABS pump

Plus, I'm taking it easy on you. Only tossing one or two things out from time to time. I could throw out the whole elephant...

I'll look at doing that next week when I have off work.

After several updates, I got the MAF curve close, but still have a lot of work to do. Sitting at idle I'm at about 14.0:1 AFR, driving around about 14.2:1, so I'm running a bit rich, I'll have to tweak that down a bit. I had a lot of problems getting a WOT, but I was able to get one. Not a good one though. Tires broke loose every time I went 100% and didn't stop doing that until I hit 70. There was some KR. but it came and went and might have been linked to the tires braking loose, I did not turn off traction control. however, I was running lean at WOT, only dropping to 12.2:1 AFR, I need to get that down to 11.7:1

For now I'm going to spend my time with basic driving and try to get the MAF curve to settle in. After the weather improves a bit and the roads are clear and dry, I can get a few WOT runs in.

Ignore the 6+ KR line, that happened when parked in the shop.
