01 Bonneville SE ELC air drier
bought this car bak in 08, i changed rear air shocks a month after buying this car...the rear passenger shock started discharging oil and didnt have as firm a ride as it used to. Luckily theyre covered under a lifetime warranty at autozone...but my problem is in the directions, step 5 says to replace the compression spring in the air drier. HOW DO YOU GET THE THING OPEN TO REPLACE THE SPRING??? lol, their picture shows the "cap" with a screwhead.
Mine doesnt have that particular design but it does have two "nipples" on either side of the drier cap. I;ve tried to use those "nipples" as points of contact for my plies but it doesnt turn either way.
I'd hate to break it and then have to go buy a new setup...i've attached pictures, please if someone has purchased this kit before and can shed some light on the matter, it would be greatly appreciated...

Chances are there is a special wrench for that. And the chances of you getting that apart are very slim. There'* a rubber O ring and I'm sure it'* all locked up with age. Your likely to break it.

We have units like that where I work, and we have the correct tools, and sometimes break the tool. Plastic ones we have snapped off the ribs, you name it, it'* failed. O rings on a threaded seal, really holds tight.
