Found this scan on another website regarding intake manifold coolant leaks, and wasn't sure if it was common knowledge yet or not:
Now if only they'd send everyone with pre-2000 3800s such a letter...

That is a known recall on the 2000-2003 Bonnevilles with L36. I think someone posted that info (recall number & info) last year when it first hit the street.

this is a different leak than what you guys are used to hearing about - not catastrophic failure because of an overheated stove pipe, but because of a problem with the throttle body gasket. as far as i know, it doesn't damage the upper intake at all, but the gasket can fail.
which is why they aren't replacing the manifold - there'* no problem with the manifold
