Windshield wipers
What brand and model of windshield wipers are you guys using?
I typically stick with the cheapo Ancos but it seems that I have to replace them every winter. I also tried the Bosch wipers and they don't seem much better. The ones that I had the best luck with were the Walmart brand ones!

I have tried many different kinds. I usually buy more expensive ones. I find that not matter how much you spend on them you should replace them once a year anyhow. I still do that to this day, once a year they get changed whether they need it or not.

The ones i got wipe great, but don't work so hot with the hiding wiper system. They're flatter then most wipers, so when they go down to their resting area, they slide up to rest into those lil blocks, and make a noise.
But then again i know they're down.

I am trying to think of the name.. but they have like teflon or something on the tip. Something like that. I think it was $7 for one.. at Meijer. My windsheild is always clearer in the rain, than my moms .

I've had the same Anco ones for about 1 1/2 yrs. I've learned to be careful how I scrape in the winter. If it'* snowing when I'm done driving I leave the wiper blades in an up position, this way it'* easier to scoop out the snow and scrape off the ice.
But if you really want to get fancy check out this place
SSEi95 got a set from there, I don' know if he hooked them up yet.

When I had the bonne, it had (still has) some Ancos on it and they work fine, and weren't much for the whole setup which was good since mine flew off driving in morning rush hour (oops).

That'* all I generally use is plain old Anco'*. With the ice and such up here, I never seem to get more than 6 months out of a set of blades...

I ended up buying a set of Ancos. I just need to be more disciplined in changing them every year.
As far as leaving them in the upright position....I'm not a big fan of that since it'* my wife'* daily driver and with our luck she'll turn the car off with them upright and then just turn the key on before chisling the ice away and end up smoking the wiper motor!
