Question Muffler Heat Shield
My muffler heat shield is all rotted out, and it'* sitting on top of the muffler rattling around. It'* so rusty that there is no way to hang it back up. Is it safe to just take it off or should I get another one?

You can take it off, it wont hurt anything mechanical

OK, thanks. I was more worried about the heat damaging the trunk or something, but I think it'll be fine without it.
