I have a 94 se and wanted to make sure i keep it checked...as far as washing the engine with the car running is it not safe? thanks

You don't need to worry so much about intakes then. No, washing the motor with the car on isn't the greatest. The motor is hot, and the water is cold. What happens when you put a hot glass in a cold sink? It breaks of course...it can cause the engine block to crack.
