Default weird problem

The wife got into the Bonne yesterday and shortly came back inside and told me that the battery was dead. It'* less then 3 months old. I tried to jump it off with my truck with no results. No interior light would come on. I thought , about resetting the system by disconnecting the positive side of the battery for about 30 seconds and then reconnecting. Bam ! It worked ???? Leaves me wondering what happen and WHY???? anyone have a idea?

check for corosion on the positive and negative battery terminals... sometimes there'* just enough there that it won't give you a connection, but if you move it just the right way (or clean it up), it'll work just fine.

what dood jus said,..also,..the cable can get just loose enuff that it gives u a bad connection. periodic tightning may keep it from doing it again.

I had something like that happen before. Turned out one of the poles inside tha battery was jarred loose ( or something like that). It was usually hit or miss if I had power to start or not. If this isn't a continual problem I would agree with the guys above.

Yup, me too. Just make sure it'* clean and on tight. When you took it off and reconnected, likely you just got it to make contact rather than actually resetting anything.
