SO My car is being a little pain lately. Besdies that point I have been reading up on knock. The articles were saying don't take out the knock senors unless you have a trained ear.

Are you talking about permanently removing the sensor or temporarily? I can't imagine permanently removing it being a good idea unless you are sure you will never have any. I believe that it not only detects it, but plays a roll in triggering knock retard to save the engine.

Never crossed my mind to take them out. I was just sighting the article. My main question is what does it actually sound like.

You will not hear engine knock at the level that the knock sensors pick it up at. I've confirmed this by seeing knock many times and never being able to hear it. One day I had 15 degrees of knock and couldn't hear it...did see it on the oil pressure gauge though.

Knock is not a bad bearing noise...it'* small levels of predetonation/misfires etc.
