I saw on the news and in the paper that GM is looking to chop pontiac and buick all together. First the Bonnes....now the entire line? Someone hates us.

GM is prolly going to be a truck/ SUV company only. The economy is suffering and thats where their sales are. Chrysler is thriving now because they have tons of money from people needing repairs to their unreliable vehicles. Now both Chrysler and Ford have European car companies giving them help so they are now reliable. GM has always been the escence of reliability so they haven't made money on repairs therefore suffering. However, they do sell trucks/ SUV'* like hotcakes so thats what they are gonna do. Desperate times call for despirate measures.

Sad to see, but not surprising to see all this come forth.

Pontiac ain't goin nowhere, Buick'* the first on the chopping block if anything does go.
Pontiac sells probably three times what Buick does.
