the 3.9L has plenty of power and when it switches between running on 3 to running on 6 you don't even notice it. ride quality is a little rougher in the impy but growing on me. the handling is nothing compared to my FE5 equipped bonnie but has it'* good points. definately more body roll. seat comfort is about equal and she will still smoke the tires off all day long thanks to the 3.29 gear ratio.

240ft/lbs tq with 90% available between 1500 and 5500 rpms. It takes a lot of work to make a motor so efficient over such a wide rpm range.

EDIT: I like the 3900s

He had asked me what I thought of the 3900 when he saw the car. I told him I had it'* sister in a '05 LaCrosse and was impressed. It has only gotten better since then. His has an incredible 90% of it'* torque is available from 1500 rpm to 5500 rpm. That'* superlative.
